I'll admit that in today's world of tons of streaming options, I've fallen victim to the supreme laziness that accompanies it. You mean I have to take the disc out of the box, place into the player, press play, and then repeat the process when I need to switch discs. That's sooo 2006, lol. No silly, you're just lazy.
That being said, there's something about watching a show, even if its a rerun, live and with commercials. It's also one of the sure fire ways that people can discover a new show by stumbling upon it accidentally. I think this is especially true when a show, like Forever Knight, is not available on any of the popular streaming outlets. It's just sad that these options are disappearing.
I'm happy you enjoyed the video. Back in the day I had a combo VHS/DVD recorder so I was able to record the commercials off the TV and then covert them digitally for YouTube. I felt like I was making a real contribution to the fandom. I always planned on converting some old USA network commercials for season 3 but sadly the recorder didn't last me very long. It broke down about a year after I purchased it.
