Bye-Bye, Chiller

It looks like after 10 years NBCUniversal has decided to pull the plug on the Chiller network. I'm not sure when the last time it aired Forever Knight, which was normally when I'd tune in, but I do remember catching an X-Files mini marathon leading up to the premiere of season 10 last year.
Oh well. It was nice while it lasted.
I'll always appreciate them taking the time to show Forever Knight some real love. I don't know how many fans remember the marathon they hosted in which Ger provided little FK trivia during commercials. I posted several of them here years ago. Thanks, Chiller, for remembering the Knight!

It's also one of the sure fire ways that people can discover a new show by stumbling upon it accidentally. I think this is especially true when a show, like Forever Knight, is not available on any of the popular streaming outlets. It's just sad that these options are disappearing.
I'm happy you enjoyed the video. Back in the day I had a combo VHS/DVD recorder so I was able to record the commercials off the TV and then covert them digitally for YouTube. I felt like I was making a real contribution to the fandom. I always planned on converting some old USA network commercials for season 3 but sadly the recorder didn't last me very long. It broke down about a year after I purchased it.
