Looky what I found!

If you live in the U.S. and happen to find yourself with $5 and change in your pocket, then you too can be the proud owner of Forever Knight season 1 on iTunes.

I already own the season because season 1 goes on sale from time to time for the price of $9.99. It and the other two seasons normally sell for $14.99.

This is a real bargain if you're at all invested in the Apple ecosystem and heck even if you're not. It's just nice to see FK getting a main page push on iTunes.

Availability is key. I'm still annoyed that it's not available on any of the streaming sites. Every now and then I like to fill out the form requesting that the show get added to Netflix in the U.S. I remember that about 10 years ago Hulu had it but it disappeared way before they dropped the free tier from their options. Sony owns Crackle but I've never seen it there. I often wonder if FK airs on any of the international Netflixes our there.

FWIW, when Crackle first started, it had FK. I still have my long-dead browser bookmark to their FK page, because I could never bring myself to delete it. Faint hopes...

Wow! I didn't know that. I can't quite remember when I got my first Roku (2011 maybe) but I do remember going through Crackle's offering when I did. I guess I just came in too late.

The entire season? Yikes.

I love my FK DVDs, but that's tempting anyway.

It's so satisfying to call up a random episode on my iPad whenever I feel the urge. That's not to say that my DVDs are thrown to the wayside. It's a different kind of satisfaction to see them on my DVD shelf. :)

It really is an amazing price. It's the right price point to entice those who might be remotely curious but didn't want to shell out $10 or $15. They're getting 22 episodes for $5!

I should have checked yesterday, but out of curiosity I wondered where the season fell on their current top selling seasons. It's at #60 on Monday afternoon. I don't know if it'll peak there but I'll be fun to see where it ranks throughout the sale.
